Kim McClure, National Sales Director, Mary Kay, Inc.

Kim McClureKim McClure is a National Sales Director for Mary Kay, Inc. When the Mary Kay opportunity came into her life in 1992, she was a Registered Nurse Specialist in Ophthalmology by education, and was working 70 hours a week as a Medical Practice Administrator and Hospital Administrator at a major Pittsburgh hospital. She agreed to listen to a presentation about the company’s marketing plan after being asked 20 times. Kim was blown away by all that Mary Kay offered women and by the company’s philosophy of living and working by the “Golden Rule” and of living your life with the priorities of God 1st, family 2nd and career 3rd. She quickly realized she had pre-judged Mary Kay. This was way more than selling lipstick! This was an opportunity to blend her love of making a difference in other people’s lives with having the opportunity to have her own business.

Kim earned her 1st Career Car for helping 14 women successfully start a Mary Kay business, just 18 months after beginning her business while still working her medical career. She became a Director 3 months after that by helping 30 women successfully start a Mary Kay business. Kim left her medical career at that point because she was making more money per hour with Mary Kay and there was more emotional satisfaction, less stress and greater opportunities for advancement.

To date, Kim has been the #1 Sales Director in the World for Mary Kay 3 times and 10 times in the Top 10 in the World, with her highest sales for her team being over 1.3 Million. She has achieved the highest position within the company, that of National Sales Director. She is the 1st and only National Sales Director ever appointed by Mary Kay in the western ∏ of Pennsylvania. Kim has also been recognized as being a multi-millionaire with Mary Kay and sits on the Advisory Board for Mary Kay Inc.

She leads over 400 consultants in 28 states in her personal Million Dollar producing Unit. Kim has supported over 40 women in achieving the position of Sales Director with each of them leading teams from 24 to over 150 women. Her Sales Directors have the highest percentage of car drivers of any other group in the world for Mary Kay. She personally has earned 12 Cars, with 10 of them being the prestigious Pink Cadillac and currently drives a Pink Cadillac Hybrid Escalade. She has earned over 50 carats of diamond jewelry, over $100,000 in cash bonuses and 16, 2 week all – expense paid luxury vacations for her and her spouse traveling to over 30 countries. In 2009, Kim led her sales organization to a 25% increase in sales during the down turn of the economy. This led her to receiving in March of 2010, the award as one of the Top 25 Women Business Leaders by the PITTSBURGH BUSINESS TIMES.

While Kim still does work occasionally with select personal clients helping them look and feel confident, most of her time is spent teaching sound business skills, entrepreneurial skills/thinking and leadership development. She loves coaching leaders for the company. Her leadership philosophy is that of a servant leader. In this leadership model, leaders are servants 1st, making a conscious decision to lead in order to better serve others, not to increase their own power. The objective is to enhance the growth of individuals, increased teamwork, and personal involvement. Kim is passionate about helping women discover their God- given talents and developing them to the fullest of their abilities so they can live their most magnificent life without compromising their family or their values. She is energized by working with motivated women to achieve their dreams and soaring beyond their wildest imagination. Kim says, “Nothing is impossible in Mary Kay for those who believe in their dreams, truly want to make a difference in the lives of women and are willing to do the work to achieve it.”

Mary HechtAs owner and investment adviser representative of Lighthouse Financial Planning LLC (“Adviser”), Mary P. Hecht CPA provides financial planning services on behalf of the firm including:

  • Retirement Planning
  • Estate Planning
  • Education Funding
  • Asset Allocation and Investment Planning
  • Insurance Needs Analysis
  • Income Tax Planning
  • Cash Flow and Debt Analysis

If the client chooses financial planning services, the financial plan chosen by the client may be “comprehensive” or “modular” in structure. In a comprensive plan, Adviser will compile the client’s balance sheet, statement of income and expenses, and statement of cash flows. Adviser will perform an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Adviser will assist the client in defining financial goals and objectives and Adviser will provide recommendations of actions and strategies that may be used to achieve those goals and objectives.

By contrast, a modular plan will only focus on a few areas of particular interest to the client such as investment planning or college funding. Financial statements are typically not included in a modular plan and the depth of analysis performed will be dependent on the extent of services desired by the client.

A written financial plan is presented to the client. It may include financial and investment strategies as well as specific product recommendations. At no time is the client under any obligation to implement any or all of the recommendations outlined in the financial plan. For additional fees, Adviser can also be engaged to assist in the implementation and/or monitoring of the plan. Implementation of the financial plan may be coordinated with attorneys, insurance agents, and other professionals. Day, evening and weekend hours are available. Please call Mary at her Murrysville office to schedule a 1 hour no cost, no obligation consultation.

Author, Speaker & Human Rights Advocate: Diana Fletcher

Diana-FletcherDiana Fletcher, The Stress Reducing Coach, author, and motivational speaker is an expert at helping people reduce stress and achieve optimal health no matter how busy and hectic their lives are. Diana is the author of five books:

* Happy on Purpose: Daily Messages of Empowerment for Women
* Creating Space: 38 Strategies to Help You Make Time for What’s Important

* Reduce your Stress Month by Month Stress Reducing Strategies

Diana has developed powerful programs that enable people to successfully reduce stress. Her presentations and workshops offer simple yet effective techniques that people can implement immediately to reduce their stress.  She has recently become involved in a mission to end human trafficking by bringing awareness to this issue and raising funds to support women and families affected by trafficking.  Currently, there are more slaves in the world than at any other time in history. Women, men and children are being held against their will and forced to work for the benefit and greed of other people. “The selling of bodies of women and children is the fastest-growing industry in the world, and an incredibly lucrative criminal industry, second only to drug trafficking ….” –Innocents at Risk

Human Trafficking often happens in plain sight and is happening in the United States today.  Here are some examples:

  • Farm owners keeping men as slave labor under the threats of deportation or of hurting their families
  • Household help being kept as prisoners
  • Hotel chains that ignore the fact that the sub-contractor who hires the maids is not paying them their wages.
  • Children being trafficked by their parents or guardians
  • Runaways picked up by predators and forced to prostitute themselves

Diana is hosting a special fundraiser and awareness event on July 23rd at 5:30 pm at AJ Palumbo Hall, Carlow University, Pittsburgh, PA
